Warframe is PS4's Most Popular Digital Game

Warframe PS4The PlayStation 4 has a number of apps and games: over 15 apps and over 60 games as of April 2014! If you've ever been curious about which app and game is the most popular with PS4 owners, Sony has read your mind and at a recent conference have revealed the answer.

Netflix is the most popular app, but that should come as no surprise to anyone.

The most popular game is Warframe, the free-to-play shooter that has been available since the PlayStation 4's launch. Sony has confirmed that the game has been downloaded more than two million times!

In light of this, Sony will be strengthening its focus on free-to-play games, SCEA's VP of publisher and developer relations Adam Boyes has stated.

"You will see a huge focus from Sony in the next few years on free-to-play stuff because of that good performance" he mentioned in an interview with Polygon.

Since Boyes knew how quick most PS4 gamers would start complaining about their "real" games, he went on to say "[These games are] not taking away from anyone. If you're waiting for a game to come out, free-to-play is a great place to go and check stuff out."

Its way over priced and when you get the stuff to build something you have to wate days at a time i do not like wating games so it feels like you have to buy alot of plat to get anywhere and $50 of plat does not last long at all i said the hell with that game i would rather pay $60 for a real game and unlock right away when i earn it so me i think its not worth the head ache

It's all free if u wanna play it right. If u want shortcuts and pay to win it there also. I have spent about £20 on it and I have played it much more than all the AAA titles like BF4. Farming for materials and blueprints is all part of the fun. When u finally build a decent frame or weapon it's a good feeling. Great game

War frame is a "real game" it

War frame is a "real game" it took real people , real large amounts of time to create this game, I disagree with some aspects of the game but in all honesty it is the best free game I have played in a long time and I most certainly will not complain about the game seeing as how its free. If u spend 5$ on flow or flower, 15$ on outlast or whatever , I don't see why you couldn't get with your friends and spend 20$ on a frame to enjoy missions together not only for yourself and your enjoyment but as a contribution to the creators for their hard work.
