Honoring a Gamer upon death

The gaming community is many things. It can be a wonderful place where like minded gamers make friends and enjoy an entire landscape of art, fun, fantasy and so on. It can also be a toxic place for online trolls that prefer to make the experience miserable for all those around them, because misery loves company and trolls are clearly miserable. Am I right?

Video Games changed my life

At some point in time, every gamer out there receives their very first video game system. I’m not talking the first video game they have played or the system they played it on. I’m referring to the very first console that was officially their own. Whether it was a gift or personal purchase (usually a gift), it is a memory that resonates with many of us, as if it were just yesterday.

Gaming since the 80's

Being a little kid in the 1980’s was a wondrous time for video games, but it wasn’t until after the market crashed that the industry really became the staple it is today. While a quarter per play didn’t seem like much in the moment, arcade games had a way of draining my already tiny wallet, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

I am Gamer

I have lived and died so many times, saying I have lost count sounds like an understatement. Knowing I’ll be sprung back to life if I’m struck down, brings little comfort to me in the moment. I’ve been burned alive... shot, stabbed, drowned and more. All physically painless, I don’t even flinch. Like a moth to a flame, I’m attracted to the chaos, except I don’t burnout.
